Manpower is currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Airdrie.

Monday to Friday
£16.00 P/H + Overtime - Weekly Pay

Specific tasks will include:

• Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned
• Check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards in terms of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
• Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use & are operated in a safe manner.

Essential Skills for the role:

• To hold a valid HGV Class 1 (with no more than 6 points)
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Knowledge of working time directive
• Multi-Drop experience
