Pay Rate: £16.50 - Class 1 Days, £18.25p/h Class 1 Nights

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Rochester. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Multidrop deliveries between network operation depots - no customer sites.
• Collections, deliveries, and trailer swapping
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• From time to time you may need will need to use pallet truck to unload pallets off trailer however typically an FLT would unload wherever needed.
• Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client

• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude
