Trainee Customs Clerk
Location: Ashford (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £20,000 - £24,500 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (some flexibility may be required)

Role Overview
As a Trainee Customs Clerk, you'll play a key role in supporting the customs process. You'll assist with preparing and submitting documentation, coordinating shipments, and liaising with customs authorities. Key Responsibilities

• Support with customs documentation and data entry
• Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities
• Help ensure smooth processing of import/export shipments
• Maintain compliance with customs regulations and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Clear communication and a proactive approach
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience in logistics or international trade is a bonus but not essential
