Job Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch in accordance with customer and export requirements
• Preparing and verifying dispatch documentation to ensure compliance with UK and import/export regulations
• Utilising Oracle order management system to manage stock releases and generate necessary paperwork
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Managing inventory and stock control to maintain accuracy and organisation
• Collaborating with Customer Service and Sales teams to respond to queries and provide updates on order status
• Constructing customised retail packs as required for specific shipments
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse operations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health and Safety procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferable
• Valid forklift truck licence is highly advantageous
• Proficient in using IT systems; full training on in-house systems will be provided
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and additional tasks
• Proactive approach with the ability to suggest and implement process improvements
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Experience with import and export shipping processes is beneficial
• Skill Labouring experience is desirable, demonstrating physical fitness and manual dexterity
