Job Title: CNC Machinist
Contract: 6 Monts initially
Location: Coventry, CV6
Basic rate: £22.46 per hour
Night shift rate: £29.87 per hour

Working times:

07:00 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday

07:00 to 12:30 Friday

20:45 to 07:00 Monday to Wednesday

20:45 to 05:30 Friday

Role Overview:
Operate and set up multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring production of quality conforming parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run and set up CNC machines, perform tool changes and offsets
• Inspect and measure components, record features and update MRP
• Maintain safety, quality, TPM, and 5S standards
• Complete paperwork and support continuous improvement
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience on multi-axis machines
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
• Skilled in reading engineering drawings and using measurement tools
• IT literate (SAP, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet eye test requirements
