Engineering Technician (Maintenance)

The Role

As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting production by delivering planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping drive continuous improvement across site machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
• Work on motors, pumps, conveyors, sensors, controls, and automated systems
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Identify recurring faults and contribute to equipment improvements
• Complete work orders using SAP or CMMS systems
• Support engineering projects and contractor activities
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality

What We're Looking For

• Engineering apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification
• Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Exposure to PLC / automation systems beneficial
• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to work rotating shifts (earlies / lates / nights)
