Our client are a growing and highly successful manufacturer of construction products across the UK & Ireland

To help develop and execute their sustainability goals, we are recruiting a Project Engineer who will focus on renewable energy projects across the business.

We are looking for a degree qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in renewable energy projects. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering green energy solutions.

Monday to Friday hours with a negotiable salary package depending on experience

Job Role:

  • Design and develop renewable energy systems including solar, wind, hydrogen, and other green technologies
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of renewable energy projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
  • Provide technical support in electrical and mechanical engineering, resolving issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including design specs, reports, and evaluations
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, and stakeholders to integrate systems into new and existing structures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by staying up to date with advancements in renewable energy technologies

What we are looking for:

  • BEng degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in renewable energy projects
  • Proficiency in CAD, project management tools, and renewable energy simulation software
  • Relevant certifications in renewable energy or project management is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
