What You'll Do:

• Develop and enforce safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, IACS, and MIL-SPEC standards.
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and lead incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed safety throughout all construction phases.
• Manage PPE protocols, confined space entry, hot work permits, and hazardous materials handling.
• Lead and mentor safety officers, conduct training sessions, and drive emergency preparedness.
• Track safety performance metrics and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years' safety experience in shipbuilding, heavy construction, or industrial settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and hazard identification skills.
• Certifications such as CSP, OSHA 30/500, or NEBOSH preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certified is a plus.
• Familiarity with IACS, MIL-SPEC, and shipyard safety requirements.
