CNC Machine Operator

Salary: £12.80 - £13.70 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the production of portable welfare accommodation units.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy machine shop environment where you'll play a key role in the fabrication of light to medium gauge steel components, ensuring products are manufactured to high quality standards and production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC press brake machinery to cut and fold steel components.
• Working from CAD drawings to produce accurate folded parts.
• Loading and running machine programs, making adjustments where required.
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Supporting production requirements while working independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience operating Bystronic CNC Press Brakes or similar machinery is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or CAD drawings.
• Experience within a sheet metal, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
