Dispatch Operative

Location: Newry
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: £12.27 per hour
Shifts: Rotating shift pattern, including weekends and night shifts

About the Role

As a Dispatch Operative, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that customer orders are accurately prepared, scanned, and dispatched on time. You'll work closely with departments including Purchasing, Production, and Goods Inwards to maintain smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, and pack daily customer orders
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
• Scan pallets and allocate to correct locations
• Ensure all items meet quality and quantity standards
• Follow stock rotation processes
• Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse or dispatch environment is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking/scanning
• Ability to lift and move goods safely
• Reliable, team-oriented and flexible with shift patterns
• Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures
