Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 + shift allowance (30% / 20% / 50%)
Shift Patterns
12 hour shifts. Days: 7am-7pm Nights: 7pm-7am

As an Equipment Shift Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting both equipment up-time and manufacturing performance. Working within a high tech clean-room environment, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve semiconductor production tools, ensuring efficient equipment operation across assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and sustain Preventive Maintenance (PMs) on semiconductor production equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and carry out first level fault recovery
- Support equipment improvement projects, experiments, and tool health activities
- Achieve required equipment performance metrics across each shift
- Follow documented procedures for equipment checks, PMs, and OCAPs
- Work closely with Equipment and Process Engineers to resolve online manufacturing issues
What You Will Need
Full training provided, but we are looking for candidates with:
- BTEC/HNC in Engineering or working towards an equivalent qualification
- Ability to interpret technical procedures and produce structured observation reports
- Understanding of modern manufacturing concepts (JIT, KANBAN, Zero Defects, SPC, TQM, TPM)
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem?solving skills
- Awareness of clean-room protocols and expectations
- Availability to work fixed 12 hour day and night shifts
