Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £12.27 per hour
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm, Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
Contract: Temporary - Minimum 3 months (Potential to go permanent for the right candidate)

About the Role
Manpower is currently recruiting a Material Handler to join our client's manufacturing support team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced production environment where your contribution will help keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure traceability and accurate documentation throughout the handling process
• Store and move materials efficiently to support continuous production flow
• Package goods to internal and external specifications, minimising damage in transit
• Work closely with production, logistics, and material handling teams
• Support general duties including cleaning, moving, and providing assistance where required

What We're Looking For

• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Overhead Crane Operations Certificate (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and a logical, common-sense approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing workloads
• Willingness to work flexibly and support other teams as needed
