My client based in Colwick NG4 is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their team on a temp on going basis, guaranteed work with the chance to go permanent for the right person

Role Purpose:

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality gas cylinders while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. The role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations:

* Operate machinery and equipment as required.

* Perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting, positioning, and assembling materials or components.

* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to complete production tasks efficiently.

2. Quality Control:

* Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.

* Report any defects or non-conformity's to the supervisor immediately.

* Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records where required.

3. Health & Safety Compliance:

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to prevent hazards.

* Identify and report potential safety risks or hazards.

4. Teamwork and Communication:

* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production targets are achieved.

* Provide feedback to improve processes and workflows.

5. General Duties:

* Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.

* Support other departments as required.

* Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Working Conditions:

* Shift-based work

* Standing for extended periods and lifting/carrying moderate weights.

* Factory environment with some exposure to noise, heat, or chemicals (all necessary PPE provided).

Mornings 0600-1400

Afters 1400-2200

Nights 2200-0600


You will be given a shift allowance for both shifts paid per day

Mornings/Afters £14..10 per day

Nights £20.23 per day
