We are working with a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer of high-quality ventilation and roofing products, known for their energy-efficient solutions and commitment to sustainability. Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit a Spiral Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative to join their busy team in Gateshead.

This is a varied and hands-on role requiring someone who is reliable, flexible, and thrives in a physically demanding environment. You'll be operating specialist machinery, assisting in the warehouse, and also stepping in as a relief driver, so a full UK driving licence is and a counterbalance forklift licence is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the spiral forming machine to produce ventilation components to a high standard
• Ensure quality control by checking seams, edges, and dimensions
• Handle, store, and move goods using a forklift
• Load and unload goods, pick/pack orders, and maintain stock levels
• Act as a relief delivery driver, transporting goods to customers when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or warehouse role
• Forklift licence
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Confident with manual handling and physically demanding work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
