Manpower is currently recruiting on behalf of our long-established food manufacturing client based in Bonnyrigg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join a busy production environment with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
This is a temporary to permanent position - offering long-term stability and career progression for the right candidate.
Pay & Benefits

• £12.40 per hour, rising to £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks

Rotational Shifts

• Week 1: 06:30 - 14:30
• Week 2: 14:30 - 22:30

(Please note: flexibility may be required depending on production needs.)
Location

• Due to the site location, own transport is essential

About the Role

Working within a busy food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across the factory floor and production areas.
Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising production lines and machinery
• Deep cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces
• Handling and disposing of waste in line with company procedures
• Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Cleaning communal areas including staff facilities
• Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately
• Supporting production teams with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential
• Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Own transport due to location
